Since Kelby is always on the go, who has time to sit and write blog posts about him? :-D

Kelby's Museum of Green Bay

Grammie and "Bob" (as Kelby can now say) took Kelby to the Childrens' Museum. Kelby's two favorite exhibits were the fire truck and the sandbox!

Kelby also affirmed his love for cheese in Wisconsin.

And he became a very nice birthday present for Aunt Jenny! :-D

Fun Outside at Gram's

Kelby had lots of fun at Grammie and GramBob's! Ant was so nice to play outside in the 90 degree weather with Kelby!

Looking for Bunnies

Kelby loves looking out his bedroom windows trying to find bunnies. He can often spot them before we do!

TOOT!!! TOOT!!!

Kelby went on his first ferry boat ride today, and he absolutely loved it! His favorite part was following the seagulls that flew alongside and above the boat.

The only disappointing part was that the boat never actually blew its horn to make the Toot Toot sound!

Did you know that a man could be scared of heights on a ferry boat? Especially a man that is now a swimmer? :D This is as close to the edge as Chris would get at the beginning of the boat ride.

 And, this was his preferred method of looking outside! But, as we all know Kelby, staying inside is not his preferred method for looking outside!

 So, Kelby was able to convince daddy to hang out outside and get close to the edge to see things!

 We even saw another ferry boat!

 Somehow I didn't get a video of Kelby chasing the seagulls - he'd spot them from the window right inside and then race outside to watch them fly along side the ferry.

Ashley's Graduation

Congratulations, Ashley! You made it through high school!

Connect Four

The boys had a very intense game of Connect Four!

 Not sure what this has to do with the Connect Four game, but thought it was cute!

Mario Kart

Kelby is getting a very early introduction to video games - he loves play Mario Kart with daddy. "Rmm-rmm!"

New Play Set

Grandma and Grandpa graciously went in on a swing set for Kelby for Easter!

Here it is getting installed - Kelby had a good time watching.

And the dog didn't leave his watch post the whole time it was being assembled.

Vacuuming

Kelby has become quite the house keeper! He loves vacuuming - will there come a day when he actually does a thorough job and you don't have to go back over all the spots? :D

Eating breakfast, just like the Swiss do.

We continue to be amazed by the variety of foods Kelby loves to eat! He has tried things before his 2nd birthday that Mom and Dad didn't have until after college!

The latest is his Muesli breakfast, which Dad lovingly prepares each night in Banilla yogurt.

I do, I do!

So cute! And you have to wait for the hilarious ending!

Happy Mothers Day!

Kelby (and Big Anthony :-) ) wished the many Mothers in their lives Happy Mothers Day!

The best part of Kelby's day was playing on the beach with Grandma!

Goal Exhaustion

After spending the first 30 minutes of the game showing the Sounders how to score goal after goal (by kicking balls into his train), Kelby needed to take a break and just watch the game! :D

Nona and Me

Nona recently had her hip replaced and we've been going to visit to help her out. Kelby really really loves his Nona! He helps her walk with her walker, but doesn't push it too hard or fast, he plays nicely in the living room, doesn't cry or scream (he even willingly went inside when Nona said she was ready to go in - that never happens at home!!), lets mommy help clean (he nicely flushes the toilets after I wash them and really likes helping wash the floors with a rag!), and doesn't mind when I cook for Nona....he's an angel! :D

We took Nona outside today to enjoy the weather. He showed off his soccer skills and then had to sit in the chair next to her for a little rest...so cute!

 It was so funny...it's like he noticed she had the walker in front of her, so he got up, moved it all around so it could be situated in front of this chair, crawled underneath and sat in the chair. I guess he wanted a turn of having the walker in front of him!

The Garden that Kelby and Mama Built

Over the last month or so, Kelby and Mama worked on building a garden! It's finally (mostly!) done and planted! Kelby was such a good helper with all parts (except the sawing of wood and drilling the screws in - he wasn't allowed to help with that!). He helped mama move the beds, dig holes to put the legs of the bed in, measure the distances between the beds, level the beds (he especially liked finding the bubble in the level!), filling them with dirt and planting them!

It will be interesting to see what grows, as someone with little hands really enjoyed playing in the beds with seeds in them! :D

 We have our pots all ready to plant herbs in...just need to get the plants!

One Leg and Jumping

Kelby all of a sudden started standing on one leg today while coloring. I thought it was pretty cute. :D

Can anyone decipher what he is saying when he jumps??

He can even make his car jump outside!

Horses

One day about a month ago, Daddy took Kelby down to look at the neighbor's horses - Shasta, Nicki and Becky. Now, it is a daily request to go and see them! Kelby makes his horse noise, points at the window at where they are and says outside! Or if you're already outside, he grabs your hand and walks down the driveway making the horsey noise! Today I happened to have the camera along.

Big Anthony likes to check them out too!

Beach Day!

We took advantage of the beautiful spring day today and headed to the beach!

There must have been something good going on to the left because that is where Kelby is looking in every picture! :D

"ah cha" = jump!

Maybe next time mommy and daddy will remember to bring the toys along....although, Kelby had a great time with the sticks! (He was just jealous of all the other kids who had balls to play with!)
