Butternut Squash

This has been the favorite so far - he's really gobbled it up!

The Farting Funnies

It all started and ended with farting...supposedly Kelby's farting, but who can say? :)

Jumperoo

Kelby's latest purchase! Chris Kelby saw one at a friend's house and HAD to get one! It took a little practice with daddy but now he's jumping away!

Spike

Most of Kelby's long hair has fallen out and what is left on top is thinning. I thought it needed to be spiked!

Bananas

Kelby moved on to a fruit! He wasn't sure about bananas, but was definitely a little bit into them by the end. They become like marshmallows when you puree them, so I imagine it must be very weird in your mouth!

Fun with Daddy

For being so scared of loud noises, Kelby had a GREAT time with daddy shaking the ball around! (Of course, I missed the hysterical laughter and he wouldn't do it again once the camera was on him! :D)

Trying to Crawl

Kelby's giving it his best shot at trying to crawl! He's not there yet, but he's definitely determined!

Avocados

Kelby tried avocados today. He seemed to like them but was perplexed by the texture (or at least that's my guess!).


I strapped him in and then went to get the avocados. When I got back he had gotten his foot up and out the top of the high chair. It was really cute. :)

First Geocache

Kelby and Zia found their first (of MANY) geocache! It was a tough find and Kelby happily hunted until they found it. I think he fell asleep about 30 seconds after - he knew his work was done and he could relax!

Go Dawgs!

Kelby's Husky outfit fits just in time to cheer on the men's basketball team in the playoffs!

Men and their Carrots

Chris was nice enough to share his carrots with Kelby. They weren't as easy to eat as his steamed, pureed ones, but he sure had a good time trying!

A Lion?

Did someone tell him he's a lion? It's pretty much the only noise he makes now!


In this video, Kelby was quite disgruntled that we lost our internet connection while Skyping with Grammie and GramBob AND that his serving of carrots was interrupted!

Carrots

I think most of the carrots actually stayed in his mouth! I guess they taste WAY better than oatmeal!

Give Me Bottle NOW

Kelby definitely knows what his bottle is now. I usually get all set-up to feed him before I am holding him, but this day, I did not. He was trying to start eating while we were walking to sit down! I'm sure he appreciated that I had to turn back for the camera to capture it!
