Bottle, Please!

Kelby can definitely recognize his bottle now!

Toy Cars Already??

I got Kelby and Chris a toy car set for Chris' birthday. I found them setting it up and playing with it!

It's important to note that people came out to visit the animal park, the police were on hand to direct traffic, the firemen were there in case of any emergencies, and the tow-truck was there to help with any accidents!

First Attempts at Eating Oatmeal

We started Kelby on oatmeal. This summed up the first day! We thought trying before his bottle would work better because he'd be hungry. We think this was wrong - we're guessing he could taste the formula mixed in with the oatmeal, but not be able to get it in as fast!

Day 2 was better. We attempted it after he'd had his bottle!

Attack of the Kiss Monster

Kelby's favorite game at the moment is to be attacked by the kiss monster. He especially likes this when he's naked on his changing table, but that shot is much harder to get by yourself! :)

Day of Fortunes

Aunt Jenny found a store that has a shirt that determines what your baby is going to grow up to be. You just pick randomly and open the bag. He finally fits the shirt and is able to show it off!

We went for Indo-Chinese food last night and Kelby got his first fortune cookie. She brought 3 cookies, so 1 had to be for him!
"Appreciate the caring people who surround you tomorrow."
Yes, not really a fortune, but that was what was inside the cookie!

Kelby's Second Purchase

Kelby saved up his allowance and made his second purchase! :) He got himself an exersaucer. He has loved standing up in our laps or on the floor while we're holding him, so, we thought he would enjoy this. He's on the low end of the range for fitting into it, but he definitely enjoys it for 10 minutes or so (long enough for mommy to eat her cereal and smile at him while he plays)!

Toe Toucher and Half Roller

Kelby is discovering his feet and loves to put his legs straight up in the air. He especially likes doing this when he's naked. He's getting pretty good at almost grabbing his toes. I imagine as soon as he gets a grip on them they will next be in his mouth! :)

He's also working on rolling over. He also likes putting his feet up and slamming them down. Poor MacGyver just wants to be so close to Kelby and Mommy that he takes the abuse of kicking and getting his ears yanked!

Kelby says: "Thank you for my outfit, Grammy!" Followed by: "Go Pack Go! Go Pack Go!"

Kelby and Daddy had a fun time dancing to the Black Eyed Peas halftime show!

He's 4 Months!

Kelby celebrated his first golden birthday! He was 4 months old on the 4th! (No, Jenny, you didn't miss Chuck-E-Cheese! We'll save that for when he's 4 years old!)

He passed his 4 month check-up with flying colors! He's eating so good he jumped from the 5th percentile in weight to the 20th percentile! Good job, little buddy!
