Lounging Together

While I was making dinner, Kelby was just playing around in the living room. I looked up and my two littlest men were just hanging out in the recliner! It was so cute! Kelby must have used that box to climb into the chair!

Merry Mickey Christmas!

Merry Mickey Christmas! (You can't totally tell, but this year we went Disney and we all had on our new Mickey & Minnie sweatshirts from Disneyland!)

We celebrated Christmas with Steph's family on Christmas Day. Kelby gets a third Christmas celebration in January when we head to Wisconsin to celebrate with Chris' family!

Santa brought us WAY TOO MANY things! We were all very spoiled! THANK YOU Santa!!

Kelby got lots of new books! He immediately wanted to start looking through them.
He got the new loud roller from Nona that he picked out while we were shopping with her and a new work bench with a hammer, screws, wrench, etc. from Grandma and Grandpa. He was definitely more fascinated with ripping the paper than what was inside....until you took things out of the box and then he was interested!

Kelby immediately knew what to do with his new car ferry!

And, of course, had great fun with something as simple as Tic Tacs!

Being the good cousin he is, Kelby tested out the toys he got Brynnlie for Christmas! They're all safe and in working order! :)

Grandpa got a little remote control helicopter for Christmas. Kelby really wasn't sure what to make of it!

Grandpa's side of the family comes for dinner. ALL the cousins were there for the first time in years! I'm sure Nona with cherish this picture!
Girl cousins.
This was the cutest - they were all playing the piano together and didn't care what it sounded like!

Snowflake Lane

We went to a local celebration that has Christmas music and drumming.

Cousin Brynnlie all bundled up!
Grandma and Grandpa

The butterfly's(?) wand lit up. That was all Kelby cared about! :)

Christmas in Portland

Kelby got his first second Christmas celebration with Ashley and Kurtis this weekend.

First things first: must inspect electronics set-up!
Unwrapping!

His new rocking car! He danced to the music the first and every time he pushed the button to make it sing!
Kelby also got some new clothes. As you can tell from these two pictures, the boxes were more exciting!

We went to a church that has an awesome light display and caroling.

Plus "Noah's Arc Petting Farm"! We just looked at the animals. :)

Kelby clearly had a great time! He fell asleep as soon as we got back to the car!

Kelby says: "Thank you Ashley and Kurtis for a fun day and my fun new rocking car and clothes!!"

Blocks

Kelby has really started enjoying his blocks. He does such a good job at stacking them. Of course I couldn't get it on video, but he can even stack two of the long skinny ones up tall end-to-end! When we first got the blocks I would play with them by stacking them on the lid because it worked better than the carpet. Well, Kelby remembered this and started doing that all on his own! So cute! :D

Garden d'Lights

Kelby and I went to a local garden that puts on a light show. He had a great time oohing and aahhing at the brightest sections.

The center white lights were a fountain and were blinking lights to make it look like water was spurting up. That was one of Kelby's favorites!

Santa Picture

Still scared of Santa...at least the guy was ready to take the picture as soon as we sent Kelby on Santa's lap. This was the only non-crying one.

Mommy's Clothes

What happens when Daddy doesn't think Kelby has enough clothes on (because he doesn't have any!)...

Toy Shopping with Nona

Kelby and Mommy took Nona to do some of her Christmas shopping. Nona found an AWESOME toy store to shop at - almost all the toys were out on display for the kids to play with! Kelby took full advantage and it sure made shopping easier and way more fun!
Kelby found this thing....he pushed/pulled it around the store for most of the time we were there. (Don't want to spoil the surprise, but someone may have had to purchase it for him!)

St. Nick's Day Piano

Chris' family celebrates St. Nick's Day every year. (Not exactly clear on the meaning - see link. I think the main thing was they got a present! :D )
St. Nick sent Kelby a piano!
It's hard to tell who enjoys the piano more!

Orange Juice

Every night when Chris gets home from work he has orange juice. Kelby has finally figured out that it may be something he is also interested in. So, now he and Chris share orange juice every night.

Window Perch

Kelby loves looking outside from his windowsill perch by the front door. Maybe when a bird catches his eye when he stands there? When he's there he talks and talks and knocks on the window.

More Hot Chocolate

Chris didn't want to share his this time, so he gave Kelby a little in his own cup. Every sip had this laugh, excitement, and the wiggle at the end!

Looking through Books

I often find Kelby in his room looking through books, which is so cute. It's been hard to capture since I end up distracting him with the camera.

He Got Behind the Fence!

Kelby got to the electronics - and clearly he's very proud of himself! :)

This is the second time. I didn't see the first one. Just all of a sudden he was pushing buttons on the phone! So, I put it back to see how it happened!
